idli sooji is fast becoming an alternative to rice idli. It can be prepared in a jiffy and are light on the tummy too. Sooji idli with eno can be prepared for lunch box or picnic or even for a journey. It is an extremely famous recipe. It is also a rich supply of fiber and wheat goodness.
After soaking this idli rava for 4-5 hours, this paste would be added to soaked urad dal and blended in a wet mixer. The final composition is known as idli batter and used to make the famous South Indian rice patties called Idli.
